James Brown, DDS, is a general dentist and a specialist in cosmetic dentistry. He brings more than a decade of experience in oral health care to True Dental Group, serving people of all ages in Independence, Missouri, and throughout Jackson County and the Greater Kansas City area.
Dr. Brown began his professional pursuits at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in zoology. Following graduation, he enrolled at the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles and obtained his doctor of dental surgery.
Before entering private practice, Dr. Brown completed many hours of continuing education and training in the placement of dental implants, implant-retained dentures, and Invisalign® oral aligners.
When he isn’t developing custom care plans or meeting with clients, Dr. Brown enjoys backpacking, camping, and staying involved with the Boy Scout troop his three sons are in. He’s also a hunter, fisher, and avid runner.
